Stacey J. Hoffman joined the Public Policy Center full-time in 2006, after working here as a graduate research assistant for four years. She coordinates the Disaster Behavioral Health Project, which oversees behavioral health disaster and emergency planning activities at the State and local levels throughout Nebraska. Stacey also contributes to variety of other projects in the design of data collection procedures, data management, and statistical analysis.

Stacey's research focus is stress and coping, particularly in the context of natural disasters and large-scale emergencies. She received her Ph.D. in Social & Personality Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006, where she also previously earned her Masters Degree. She received her B.A. from Cornell College with majors in Psychology, German Language & Literature, and Comparative Religion.
